The Delaware Hispanic Bar Association (“DHBA”) is a professional organization composed of members of the Bar and law students of Hispanic descent as well as others interested in promoting the interests of Hispanic lawyers and communities.
The DHBA was founded to:
• Provide a forum for Hispanic lawyers and other lawyers interested in promoting the administration of justice and the social, economic, professional and educational advancement of Hispanics in Delaware;
• Cultivate a spirit of good fellowship and camaraderie among the members of the legal profession in Delaware and to continuously improve relations in and among the Delaware Hispanic legal community, the greater legal community and the public at large;
• Promote diversity in the Bar and serve as a resource to Hispanic students interested in pursuing a legal career; and
• Work with national and local bar associations, government agencies and community groups.
To further these objectives, the DHBA is a Hispanic National Bar Association (“HNBA”) affiliated organization. As such, its members enjoy discounted membership rates with the HNBA.
